Bantuan PRIHATIN Nasional 2.0 (BPN 2.0)

On 23rd September 2020, the Bantuan PRIHATIN Nasional 2.0 (BPN2.0) is introduced. It is one of the additional assistance provided by the Government to the B40 and M40 groups to ease the burden of the people due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The award of BPN 2.0 is based on the BPN 2020 database (B40 and M40) which includes 10.6 million approved recipients.

Details of Bantuan PRIHATIN Nasional 2.0 (BPN2.0)

Subsidy Amount:

👉 B40 Household: RM1000 (RM 700 on first phase + RM 300 on second phase)
👉 B40 Single: RM 500 (RM 350 on first phase + RM 150 on second phase)
👉 M40 Household: RM600 (RM 400 on first phase + RM 200 on second phase)
👉 M40 Single: RM 300 (RM 200 on first phase + RM 100 on second phase)

Condition:

M40: RM 2001 – RM 4000
ℹ️Household🏠:
B40: RM 4000 and below

BPN 2.0 recipients who have received the last payment of BPN 2020 before.

The application period of BPN2.0 is from 15th October 2020 until 15th November 2020.

You do not need to apply for BPN 2.0 if you have received the last payment of BPN 2020 before.

Yes, new application can be made from 15th October 2020.

BPN2.0 payments are as follows:
👉 Phase One – end of October 2020
👉 Phase Two – January 2021
BPN2.0 payment will be credited to bank account. If the bank account is inactive or recipients do not have a bank account, subsidy can be claimed by cash at BSN branch.
👉For recipients of rural areas in Sabah & Sarawak who do not have a bank account, payment will be started in January 2021 and in one off basis.

Updating bank account information is not allowed. If recipients’ bank account is inactive, subsidy can be claimed at BSN branches.

Recipients can submit a new application / appeal starting from 15th October 2020 under the new category if it meets the eligible requirements.
